Ok, I should start by saying that describing this man as ‘little’ is sarcasm its simplest form… he was HUGE… 10 lbs. right out of the gate, 11 by the time I got my hands on scarcely a week later! There were baskets I fully intended to put him in… but he didn’t fit. He is a DOLL and lucky for me (and you) his momma got the Belly to Baby 1st year package, so you’ll be seeing him again… and again… and again…. have fun looking at this little dough boy!

This little guy was too much fun! I love how snuggly babies are around a month old… he was a dream and I really think he enjoyed the studio lights… he’d just stretch and make himself comfortable anywhere I put him

Baby Hudson {Bryan/ College Station Newborn Photographer}
This is baby Hudson, who was all of 5 lbs. during this shoot. He was 6 days old, the PERFECT age for a newborn shoot, because they do this… sleep! Once we got him to sleep, he just slept and slept and slept. I rarely get to do this much with a baby, but I didn’t want to stop and he didn’t seem to mind, so we kept going! It was a great shoot!
This family received a Charly Stagg Photography gift certificate as a baby gift! What a GREAT IDEA!

There are too many stories attached to this family to choose just one, so I’ll say this. I’ve know the Momma since kindergarten (which has been, like, 28 years now… yikes!) and our dream (well, one of them) was to be pregnant together…. we had talked about this for years and years and years… and it finally happened in 2005- She was pregnant with her first child, Danica and I was was pregnant with my 4th child, Lucas…. not EXACTLY how we planned it, but hey, we still see each other every time she’s in town… which isn’t OFTEN ENOUGH!!!! She’s now pregnant with her 3rd and I’m… well, I’m D-O-N-E… so I’ll live vicariously through her and love on her baby… then give it back.

Atkinson (and extended) Family {College Station/Bryan, TX Family Photographer}
This is a family… .like, the kind that all live on the same land and do everything together- the kind where the grandparents are a constant, the definition of ‘it takes a village…’ and how fun they are… on their own land, in their natural environment…. this little one made me work for it, which I find humorous, considering some of my very favorite images from this shoot are of this very stubborn pink cheeked child… Lots of love present here! That’s my favorite memory of these people…. the love was so apparent!
