This is baby Hudson, who was all of 5 lbs. during this shoot. He was 6 days old, the PERFECT age for a newborn shoot, because they do this… sleep! Once we got him to sleep, he just slept and slept and slept. I rarely get to do this much with a baby, but I didn’t want to stop and he didn’t seem to mind, so we kept going! It was a great shoot!

I met these sweet people within a week of their arrival to Texas from North Carolina. They moved here for work and their daughter, Isabel, was in my class. That was over a year ago and I am so honored to be able to photograph this incredibly close, and strong family….
This sweet family had the fabulous idea of an Aggie themes Christmas card, so of course we headed out to Texas A&M to see what we could find…. while we stayed in one general area, there was a lot of variety! Yay for finding new and interesting places to shoot! Anyway, these kiddos were super posers and, par for the course, the girls in the family were a little more willing to cheese it up for the camera than the boys…. fun afternoon and a perfectly overcast day, too!
